Is this transaction a loan?

No, the transaction is a purchase of a portion of the judgment for which we receive an assignment. You or your client repays us only after you win the appeal. There is no risk. There are no monthly interest or principal payments. If the plaintiff does not prevail in the appeal, you do not have to repay the advance and you will owe us nothing.

What can I or my clients use the money for?

Typically attorneys use our funding for working capital for the law firm, to pay case costs or to expand their practices through marketing and advertising.

Plaintiffs often use our funding for living expenses, to pay medical bills, for major life purchases such as a home or to finance the appeal itself.
